The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai is officially over. The show itself won’t air until November 28, but the angels put their wings down and are already flying on to their next job. Perfect bodies walking down the runway, but it's just not the same anymore. There wasn't as much excitement for it this year. Not to sound rude, but this Las Vegas showgirl styling has run it's course. It's tired and anachronistic!
Is it just us or do you also think Victoria's Secret's explosive success might just start collapsing soon?
Every brand today is working hard to cater millennials and if you ask us their preference is not in line with Victoria's Secret.
The body image that they show on the runways and in the magazines is not what most of the girls look like. Moreover, most girls on that stage is a product of nepotism.
The brand is not sustainable and it's doesn't support any cause.
What millennials want is companies that prioritize “making an impact” on the world around them. They want companies to be actively invested in the betterment of society and the solution of social problems. It's time for change Victoria's Secret.
