Michelle Pfeiffer is planning a comeback and it's major! The actress took a lengthy hiatus from acting and disappeared from the screens to spend time with family, to take care of her children. But the actress is Back!

The Wizard of Lies, an HBO drama about the Bernie Madoff scandal. A first look at Robert De Niro as the infamous fraud and Michelle Pfeiffer as his wife, Ruth Madoff, who gets caught up in her husband’s scandal.

In an interview with Darren Aranofsky, Michelle explained why she was away for some time.

“I’ve never lost my love for acting,” Pfeiffer explains. “I’m a more balanced person, honestly, when I’m working. But I was pretty careful about where I shot, how long I was away, whether or not it worked out with the kids’ schedule. And I got so picky that I was unhireable. And then . . . I don’t know, time just went on . . . I disappeared, yeah.”

While Michelle was on long hiatus, she seem to be the ‘Pop Music Muse of the Moment.’ Let’s start with “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars. “This hit, that ice cold… Michelle Pfeiffer, that white gold.” The second ‘Pfeiffer’ name-dropping comes from “Riptide” by Vance Joy who’s opening for Taylor Swift’s World Tour
